  1. Have you spoke to your bank manager about this?

I just opened a BUSINESS bank account i'll have you know :001_tt2:

works not too bad at the moment.

although the farm where i dump my chippings just fell through & it took me a couple of weeks but i've found another one for free & one that charges a tenner to dump ANY load of a tenner to pickup ANY load of their own compost made of their green waste. wicked stuff!

i'm playing catch up on tree work now & have almost talked myself into spending around a grand on a log splitter soon.

  2. much better off getting a hilux pickup. from the mk4 onwards they are a turbo diesel which is what i have & will happily tow a chipper while stacked up with logs or chippings with high sides on.

it won't be long till he tries to get rid of the frontera.....

  3. Hi all,

I've lived up in Scotland a year now & have managed to sort out a yard in East Kilbride & am slowly getting my firewood supply ready for the winter.

So far there's around 5 - 10 cubic metres of waste wood from my tree surgery but most of it isn't seasoned enough. i've got an empty space allocated between 2 containers which should house up to 30 cubic metres of logs on palletts.

Can anyone help me with possible suppliers of hard or softwood?

    Cheers, Dan.

  4. Hi all,

I'm new to the forum & just wanted to say hello.

My name's Dan, I moved from Somerset to Bonny Scotland about a year ago & recently got married to my lovely wifey...

I look forward to getting to know a few tree folk & having a chat with you.
