  1. Bad luck mate.

I think you got a good case to take to trading standards.

Definitely cheap Chinese sh*t. I've got nothing against the Chinese but certain build quality should be priced accordingly... this might be the guy who's based down in sw England. I was tempted to get a splitter 2nd hand which originally came from him but decided against it in the end.

From what I've read on here the rico or riko splitter seem to be the ones to go for.

  2. You gave them too much Lurcherman, make them find their own digs, transport, food, and they can get paid Monthly when they sign their monthly contract. Make a package to good and you only attract the soft ones:sneaky2:

    Very true...

A the end of the day what goes around comes around. What's the point in living life looking over your shoulder & cheating people?

I got enough problems trying to sleep at night with my lovely wifey snoring away & gargling next to me without needing a dodgy conscience on my mind too! :001_tt2::001_tt2:

Love you really dear... (incase she sees this)

  3. £50 a cube unprocessed is well overpriced.

plus you have to transport it.

the best offer in my opinion is to go there with a log splitter or mobile processor & process the logs on site & go for a 50/50 share in the ready to sell logs.

  4. How did you do it Danny? I tried ringing 150, but couldnt speak to anyone :confused1:

Orange is a pain in the arse to get thru to! i just wanted to make sure there wasn't any hidden billing surprises which there wasn't. if you enable data roaming on your handset it works easier but you MUST remember to disable it before you go abroad other wise you can get charged an arm a7 a leg!

as mentioned the easiest way to enable it is to reply to the txt they send you & do it that way. takes 30 seconds.

  5. wtf!

that machine looks like a mehican-muncher...

that last log didn't seem to do it much good?

how come someone sees lorry's to the right? i got "hot girls tazered", "two girls kissing compilation", "what i learnt from adult movies" etc :thumbup1:

  6. sounds a bit funny to me. from what i remember paypal seems quite buyer biased (used to be anyway) & there was a problem where someone (a vagabond of some sort) would buy something say it was crap or some other malark & file a dispute thru paypal who would then refund the money to the buyer before (or independent of) the item being returned to the seller.

it could be legit, maybe he wants it for parts etc.

but generally a chipper is a fairly specialised & expensive bit of kit & you gotta wonder why someone just wants to buy it blind.

go on the paypal website & look thru for any advice & maybe a customer service tel no & see what they say.
