  1. Plus when we started we only did for our brash then people keep asking if I would take now it as become a full time job. That's why I'm asking so I don't want to keep selling to the middle man all the time.
  2. Yeah it was per tonne but now get 14.00 per tonne. Twice it shredded then done again. I no it's only for power station because I could tell the difference when I chipped with heizohack between logs and brash
  3. Yeah that's Sembcorp. I was getting 14 per tonne but I'm getting 8. Because I'm only hour away from it or less.
  4. The company I supply said they will take as much as I've got the other day we had truck lining up. The chip is all going to the power station at middlesborough.
  5. We are and that's why we are thinking of getting a screener to sort it all out. Because the company I sell to now have recommend that I try and get 50mm mesh put on the screen.
  6. It's all brash I shred. It's get shredded twice. It's a lot harder to do when it's dry better to shred when green. I would like something like a silage pit we concrete floor and sides.
  7. Because the chip I've been producing lately is mixed of a chipper and now we've bought a shredder from chippers international. It's dry and keep outside on hardcore and road plainings yard. We are looking into getting a screener to get rid of the problems caused by foreign bodies.
  8. It needs to get a lot better before I sell my chip to them. I sell to Vicary and they helped me this last year with getting the chip size right for a good price.
  9. When some1 came out to my yard they spoke to my dad and said something about it not being on a hard stand and the price was bad.
  10. Does anyone if tilhill does buy woodchip for biomass because we asked someone on the stand at apf and he look at us like we were stupid. Or any1 apart stobarts or Vicary because I use 1 of these companies but I'm producing upto 80-100 tonne a month but I can do more.

  12. It's pto powered and loaded with telehandler time you tip a load in and pick another up it's done. It can do around 100tonne a day.
  13. It's a shredder. Hodge. Can take green waste and old fencing it's got 40 hammers instead of blades

  15. I went to apf today and the best part of the show was showing my mum was this machine I work with and own it at 19 years old. I also bought 2 t shirts from the arbtalk stand and meet silky fox.
  16. My dad has a fencing company he runs 5 ldvs because are they cheap to run and we've killed them by the time we've finish with them.
  17. Hi I've been looking into getting a processor and I was wondering what a Japa 370 processor are like. Are they ok as the first processor because I'm using a chainsaw and splitter at the moment.
  18. I've sold my chip to j & s Vicary from Yorkshire Ok thanks John so I might as well keep selling to the people i am now and save me the hassle.
  19. I was just wondering because I've just sent away 6 loads to the power station through another company in the last 2 weeks and got another 2 loads to go this week.

When selling wood chip for the power station we sell to someone like stobart who get paid off the power station but if I wanted to sell to them instead of stobart how would I go about selling to them I've already got the haulage sorted but which company do I contact about it. Sorry if going on a bit .
