  4. hi there,

I like to dabble in words from time to time and would be delighted to trial your trousers for you. I'm a contract climber with a small outfit of my own. Currently use stihl and sips depending on the job.

Contact 07811385870 or [email protected] / Send trousers to The Hermitage, Rydal, Cumbria, LA229LR

PS dead wooding a sequoia in a fortnight if you want a dramatic photo of your trousers in use.

    Kind Regards,

    Ben

  5. hi mate, sorry to be out of touch for a while. Rydal Hall went cold on the 5m high carving idea but are keen on a 1-1.5m one. They have a yurt or camping pod available at the end of August for a week to stay in and another yurt where you can display a sample of your carvings for sale. Rent for both yurts is just an item of your work for the site. This could be in the butt of the tree or a free standing carving. they might take a free standing one in exchange for the yurts and pay a contribution to you for the carving up the butt say £100 a day for two days??? the other days of te week have as either a holiday or work out by the gallery yurt doing displays to draw in the punters?

    does any of that appeal?

  6. nice working with you today rhys.

i think you've got a good a career ahead. keen as mustard

if anybody wants a reference drop me a line

  7. why is it inappropriate? I paid respects to those that might care about him. Because someone has died should we alter what we think about him. Granted i sould be inappropriate to send a letter to his wife saying that but this is a forum on arboriculture... surely

  8. hey steve,

I know that post of mine might be blunt but its not disrespectful. surely its a fair attitude to have that warrents discussion?

  9. I've been wondering if next time you had a big job on with some hobbs lowering and such going on too, if you'd let me come in as a groundie for you jp, just to see how you do things and learn what i can off you?

  10. Just a thought...

~Gangs of facts? Would you prefer swarms of nice ideas?~

  11. hey there jd,

I'm a climber in central lakes. Do you have an arb you can call on as and when you come by tree work?

  12. cheers, steve, smiles all round. With regards to gloria. How does that work with larger jobs. Do you then hire in a bigger job or do you just cut out 'all' the fire wood?

  13. hey there ed, got your request. who are you? graham???
