Hi guys I have a bit of work in the loch lomond area over the next few weeks and I'm looking for somewhere to get rid of wood chip and logs locally, we are working from on the Luss side of the loch. We have been in touch with Luss estates but they can't help us out this occasion so if anyone knows of anywhere then please let me know. Thanks
  2. Hi guys I have a job to price in east Kilbride that requires the stumps removed, my machine ain't big enough so I'm looking for a couple of quotes. There are between 60-80 stumps of varying sizes. I would require it looked at Monday Tuesday next week so as to put the quote together. Cheers

    <p>I found it quite easy to making the move from army to tree surgery as I think the time was right for a new chapter. You have not missed the boat when it comes to age but it's a very psychical job both on the ground and as a climber, also the Market is flooded at the moment and there are a lot of experienced guys on arb talk looking for work. As for the pay you would would get £60 per day initially going to £80 for the first couple of years and once you get climbing you would be looking between £100-£125 per day but you are expected to bust ur ass for that plus use all your own equipment.</p>

  7. Having never used a TW as I have a greenmech at the mo and been using the mx220 for the last few weeks I think shleisling is an awesome bit of kit.

  9. Looking for opinions guys, need a second chipper and got the choice of a 4 yr old mx200 shleisling or a TW 150 1yr old both the same price. What's your thoughts please.

  18. Sorry guys should have said, we are based in Glasgow and a lot of stuff is in this area at the moment with the Olympics but got stuff further north in Perthshire and hopefully one day go over the border south. mainly central belt Scotland but changing weekly.

Hi guys I have got myself a yard in cambuslang Glasgow where we are starting to do logs and planters as it's a busy street across from a school and housing estate, I have an idea that if we could find someone needed somewhere to carve then we have the space if anyone in the area is interested then PM me.
  21. Looking for your advice and thoughts, on pollarding lime trees from approx 20m down to 5m, this is the recommendations put to my client by a survey they had done,due to decay at the previous pollard bole at 4.5m. Any advice and thoughts would be appreciated cheers
