    <p>Ok mate some cold hard hard facts unless you got tickets your not much use to anyone. You cut with no saw tickets and you can't chip branches without a chipper ticket unless your working for gypsies. Get CS30/31/38/39 and chipper then you will be employable. It's hard but if you want it you will get there mate also I'd be carefull about offering free work don't under sell yourself plus with all these folk offering free labour it could drive prices down for all of us if you know what I mean.   4. Hi guys not been on for a while hope alls well I'm looking to pick up a few extra shifts over the weekends on the run up to Xmas. Quals are as follows cs30/31/38/39/40 chipper, stumpgrinder, full clean licence + HGV, first aid trained I have all my own kit and transport don't mind what the work is or how hard just want a few extra pennys for the festive period can do Saturdays Sundays or both. Ideally glasgow area but can travel to Stirlingshire areas aswell. Many thanks. Andy.
  5. Hello mate ive just left the Army myself put myself through all tickets now I have a great job but it was a long slog getting here pm me any time if I can help I will, trust me don't get disheartened I almost gave up on it but there is loads of work out there you just need a break. Andy.
  6. sent a few cvs off Guss but think with how busy people are its best to phone around rather than email. Any ideas on how I can get hold of a PTS card mate? I understand you generally have to have a sponsor is that the only way round it? Also I was thinking of trying to find some work on the rhoddies. doesn't seem to be much info about that on here or anywhere else ive looked?? Cheers Guss.

  8. Hi guys Wonder if anyone can help I'm looking for any arb or forestry work around Scotland or at least a couple of days trial with anyone I have cs30/31/38/39/40 current first aid cert. HGV licence own saw, PPE own transport and PAX insurance. I have good work ethic and I am easy to get along with. I have worked in the industry out in NZ and OZ and over here I am currently coming to the end of 5 years in the army and would like to pick things up again but no supprises finding it quite hard to get a foot in the door. I would be happy to work a couple of days for free to let anyone decide for themselves about me I can also provide some photos of some small arb jobs I have done locally and have excellent references available on request.
