  1. local work is nice but we get a good amount of work all over, this year we have been sent to wales as well as sutton coldfield and other places, at first i felt like i was treading on local arbs toes but soon make new friends and contacts, garden centres love free chip and no firewood yard will turn away free wood. just price it right etc, change of scenery is usually welcomed by the lads. my turn for stupid question then.. i got this box to fit on cab roof, do i put the bolts through going up? or down? and why?

  2. this is current box (they dont last long) essentials such as cableties, graffiti-liquid, spanners, sockets, wd40, 3hammers, drillbits/drill and an inch of woodchip (just in case). the other essentials including stove, recovery equipment, cans of soup and lucozade fit under seatboxes:thumbup1:

  3. Hi guys, spent all day wasting time at hospital and docs, got either a hernia or muscle damage to stomach area(they havent decided which yet), told not to work for 2wks and to go see specialist, got a full weeks climbing for next week, not stupid stuff - just dismantles, crownlifts etc, ideally someone with rigging tickets and B+E trailer licence but not essential. if accomodation is needed then i have a caravan in garden etc.. thanks. Ed.

  4. mines 12mth old and im having to 'choke' it to death everytime at the mo, its really easy to strip down but im sure its the switch as i've cleaned every other bit up a couple of times. stihl dealers usually have bags of them as they fit more than one machine.

  5. ooh spoiling the landy now are we? go on give it a wash as well:thumbup1:.. would it sound too wrong if i asked for a peek at dangerous brian's tranny butt? any pics brian? (oh boy i hope its a pic of a ally ford transit back end now..!:blushing:

  6. how many tools did you need to put up the washingline?

i had a long layin bed, dreamed of having a big workshop, looked out of the window, had two breakfasts, my ma+pa came round and helped finish tiling my kitchen, watched telly, forgot to run the dogs today again, im getting lazy, i used to run them through the local woods everynight. now watching transporter2 and playing on arbtalk.

  7. say what you want, it works ok for me.. they sent me a loser salesman guy first couple of times but i didnt like him. the new guy is ok and understood when i told him i didnt want to talk interweb advertising this year - just a book repeat, not like yell who still try ringing giving it all the sales bull. i dont like pushy people unless i need a bumpstart.

  8. i dont really mind them dislocating as im pretty sure during normal duties of my truck i would probably get stuck somewhere if it didn't articulate as much as it does.. the problem is the not relocating correctly which i dont believe there are parts available for double sprung setups? i do worry i might lose the top inner spring seats though, maybe a cabletie to the spring would help me not lose this part?
