The number on the bar coded sticker is the serial number

i think i saw that before it got scorched there, i'll check them tomorrow as i know they are all still covered in snow/sawdust that hasn't melted yet and most of the locks are frozen too:thumbup:

back out to the tool bunker then..brr, when they were new there was a paper sticker with a number on, would that not be it too?

complete guess without seeing the motor, i'd blame an airlock and look for a bleed cap high up on the cooling system pipework near the engine. remove cap and pour in coolant while running till all air is expelled, then top up bottle as normal. Ed.

an air locker will only help with the traction available, poor biting tyres aren't going to find better traction with an air locker, get good tyres first then maybe an air locker to give beastly traction. i used to do a bit of grasstrack racing and the cars with the knobblyest tyres always won:thumbup:

i saw a transit on weds on my way to work, it had a tonne builders bag right at the back, he was trying to pull out of a very gentle sloping road and was spinning the wheels for ages:thumbup: if he had decent tyres or all terrains then he wouldn't have spun as much and we could all have got on with our journey, don't be that guy..get the good tyres:thumbup1:

if they are real bfg's then i'd go for it, tranny pattern tyres are pants, also bfg's probably have a higher load rating than your regular cheapies, no contest really:001_cool:

mine (300tdi disco) took about ten seconds of cranking this morning before i pressed the accelerator and it fired.. very cold this side of the valley, why can't i live that side in the sun?

the nato has four mounting bolt holes and the ball has two, i'll measure mine tomorrow to see if the bolthole centres are similar, unless someone knows off hand..

one of them free magazines for local businesses came through the door today and just before i chucked it into the fire i noticed a company offering a vhs to dvd or harddrive etc service, i'd look up the details but hate junkmail so am surprised that this much info made it as far as my head..
