  1. Cut down of 2 big trees in tree climbing placed "above" a house and with a very little space to fall pieces of wood. It wasn't possible to use a crane 'cause there was a very small access to get into this district.   2. When I see a dead birch, I suddendly think about bad things, but I'm sure that you have evaluated the stability of the plant. After said my first thought, the second one is: good work.

I couldn't understand very well the first part of what you wrote, but to leave a bigger hinge is not advantageous and it could be even negative leaving a too big hinge because it increase the longitudinale percent of breaking of the upper piece of the trunk. I hope you understand my english explanations

  5. It is a very quiet place and there are also great plants to get to the houses c is only one path, no roads.

  9. ah ah ah The wood has been moved with a small crawler to much more than 115 ft. Unfortunately we were in mountains, with only small paths. Nothing was wasted, all wood for heat.
