  1. Do any of you guys look at ground.news? Interesting to see how different news outlets report on the same stories!
  2. Today I had sourdough bloomer with pate, bitter salad leaves and beetroot chutney. 👍
  3. If that's the guidance then get it cleaned. I've not been to oz, but when I went to nz on holiday they took my walking boots etc off me and clean them at the airport. Because they thought I'd worn them outside and they might be a bit dirty. Very strict bio security.
  4. Get one of these! Very sensible 👌
  5. Yeah but someone's got to say it.😄
  6. Glad to hear it's working out well for you. Follow your passion and you'll be happy I always think, so go for it.
  7. What a shame, a lovely guy and very talented. He came into my English class in about 1990 to give a talk. He made me realise that you can express your self in different ways and don't have to confirm to the man!

We had a guy come and pick some up from a job the other week. He uses it to make wind instruments. Paid several hundred pounds for 3 trees. He's in Hertfordshire I believe. I can try to get his details of the boss if you want?
  9. I can read it and haven't paid
  10. Lessons from Vienna: a housing success story 100 years in the making WWW.FT.COM As world cities suffer from crippling rent rises, the Austrian capital’s radical... I lived there for about 9 years. It's definitely big government and its great. Obviously not perfect but that's life I'm afraid 😅
  11. It's a good example but the houses are too expensive! 🤣
  12. I guess it depends on what you want? You mentioned anarchy earlier, catalonia was anarchist at one point but the Spanish didn't like it and stamped it out. Some areas of Ukraine are too I believe, but now might not be the best time to explore it! There are also some small communities round Europe who practise it. In Denmark and Germany I think.
  13. Surely if the people democratically choose centralisation of power, then its OK? Some countries have a great record of organising themselves for the benefit of their population.
