    I have been asked to help a mate out pruning some trees at their place in Italy, I will need to take my top handled saw out with me. Has anyone taken a saw on a flight before? I was thinking at least it will require draining all the fuel and taking the bar and chain off, and putting as a checked baggage. Anyone got any advice or heard of saws getting confiscated by security?

    I was doing the aerial inspection with Charlie, and many symptoms point towards Stereum sp. Does anyone have experience of live oaks with this decay?
