    Opico Skidsteer.

The skidsteer i was looking at sold before the end of the auction unfortunatley, and to be honest its still a toss up between something like that and a micro digger with an auger attachment. They both have there pros and cons i guess, the Micro digger is maybe more marketable to hire out though ?

Are parts and other attachments readily available ? The one i've seen has the loading bucket, some home made forks and a brick carrier. JD

Looks the part, but the price tag put me off, slightly. Ouch. 2nd hand would do though. JD
  5. We install mainly garden fencing and wondered whether one of these machines would be useful with the Auger attachment, digging the holes takes up most of the time on site as you all know and its hard graft for us 40 plus fellas I always planned to buy a micro digger and get an auger on that but they aren't always suitable due to the tracks, so would this be a decent alternative ? Anybody have/used one ? What they like ? JD
  6. We can't hire an Auger of any sort around these parts which is right pain, we need one for next week if anyone has any ideas ?
  7. Always been JCB'S with me, its what i should have done when i was a lad, instead i have drifted from one thing to another when these were my passion if you like. I'm never happier than when i have a micro or a mini digger in someones garden ! Looking into buying a micro at the minute with an auger and pecker and using it for fencing etc, hiring out with myself when times are quiet too.
  8. I always fancied getting an old JCB and restoring it to former glories, maybe picking up the odd bit of work afterwards. Romantic bollocks probably though.
  9. Have you had any experience of using an Auger on a 3/4 ton micro digger ? Seems like it could be a versatile piece of kit wen you nthink what else the micro can do ! JD
  10. How stable are these to work off mate, we need ladders of some kind, just not quite sure which type / style though ?
  11. That sounds interesting, how does that work mate ?
  12. If you look on the r/h side of that paticular page, you will see 4 different codes, you want img code mate.
  13. Fail I think you need to remove the <a ref code mate
  14. I fancy getting me a good stove/heater for it too, having all this would laying about makes sense also
  15. Sounds like a decent van that rob, Miles away up here though mate. 5 metre poss not big enough too ?
  16. There a beast of a caravan are them, don't think it would fit in the space I have available though unfortunately, probably looking at 25 foot max, is that gonna be big enough ? Only gonna be me and my lad occasionally.
  17. There are a few Roma's on flebay but I wouldn't know what to put in the ornate display cabinets that they all seem to have :-)
  18. Cheers for the reply fella. I thought they looked a decent van, there are a few on fleabay at the minute, but none too local just to have a look around and not buy if you know what I mean.
  19. Now that spring is getting nearer I'm gonna be looking to get a caravan sorted, hopefully in the next week or 2 and I wondered if anybody has any experience of Tabberts ? Are they similar to Hobby's as I was recommended earlier in the thread, for insulation quality and also build ? Oh, and what height is a van, external measurements please, rough estimates will do thanks men. JD
  20. Good luck to your Mum and chin up fella.

    Worse to come?

I have one of each ( google + WP) plus an HTML Site and the Wordpress site is far the easiest and quickest to edit. The google sites are also quite rigid and similar looking imo of course. The wp site is far superior in appearance and in user friend liness also. JD

    Worse to come?

The google sites mentioned above are free for two years then chargeable afterwards I think ? We wish, well me specifically wished ours was in a wordpress format, Its soooo much easier than messing about with text editors and ftp clients. JD

    Worse to come?

Do it on Wordpress mate, so much easier than html etc.
