  1. I bought one Friday mate and all I can say is..................... is that every man/lady and his/her dog should have one! I had bi lateral carpal tunnel two years ago, so I am quite anal about vibrations but I did not think it was that bad. There is a thread on here that a few people were saying that they thought it was quite bad for vibrations. each to there own I suppose. Don't let it put you off its a cracking little saw for reductions.

  4. Hi People. So I now have my first employee he has no tickets BUT he is a good lad so I would like to get the ball rolling with him. I am not sure though when it comes down to me paying for his tickets do I pay him the days he is training and taking his assessment? or do I offer him- I will pay for your tickets but the days your training I wont pay you a wage? And do you wright into there contract that once you have passed your ticket and I have paid for it you are then bound to me/company for 6 months to a year? Please help Thanks Shane

  6. Get her involved mate, get her to wright the quotes up haha, have a chat with her mate your bringing in the money and that's what counts if u have to do a few 7 day weeks then so b it. Mine understands she helps with my book work to lighten the load so I can get it done quicker in the evening and at weekends, then we can spend more time together.   10. I run a crew cab 2.5 td 53 plate ldv "long delay vehicle" lol Great truck run it for about 3 and half years now only ever failed mot on rear breaks from overloading . Starting to rot now though But buy god has it earnt its keep I don't think it ows me a penny and its only got 74,000 miles there all good
  11. I think it's each to there own, I prefer my wire core but money has not aloud recently, aspecially now I have been robed for £5000 worth of kit! And 4x4! so my little home made strop is doing me just dandy for a sticky moment in life and earning me £
  12. A video of some tree felling from the other day, a mixture of photos and videos watch out at 2.45 for the branch that catches another tree and comes back!!! Reason for felling them higher/ at waist height the wood was all going to firewood and the second tree i would have had to cut from both sides which i could not be botherd with as i had my 660 was nicked the other day:thumbdown: Enjoy
  13. I am looking for a generator, could anyone recomend one? looking to run some lights small compressor maybe a drill and angle grinder from time to time, Its for the workshop so i dont want one to loud if you no what i mean Thanks

  15. Well not quite pal, Its not knackerd lol its only because the wire spring had snapped (replacable I know) (reason I did not replace it is because I am fed up replacng them as there crap!) and it is now out of its work life span 5years is it? So no not really "absolute madness"

  23. My Own lol I took her Paris on new year And was not expecting to pay for a full on wedding by the middle of next year All fun and games lets hope I can keep banging the work in

I used to be But then i got wise I dont really go out now spend to much £ on work kit lol I am just trying to save a bit of £ as I have a wedding to pay for and I am taking on my first PAYE man next month so just being abit thight. But then looking at the other thread it makes me not feel to tight as quite alot of peeps make there own strop which is good to know
