  2. There was a power line running along the side of the road though you cant see it, it was about 2-3ft away from the tree, so no I don't have the balls to fell them down the side lol. It only took us 3 half hours to fell a fully clear
  3. Nothing to special but a short vid to keep you all entertained. Enjoy
  4. I have an ash tree pollard on Monday that I might video and have a 3 man team which we usually only have a 2 man team so we could get a 3 way fist pump and 3 way group hug No its still in full use get helicopters go over now and then in that direction, and the paper work to work on there trees was a nightmare We have never done it before and it was my groundys idea We will be doing it as much as possible now We generally use a pressure washer lol
  5. get a youtube account mate, upload on there and then copy and paste the link into this
  6. We did a LOAD of work middle of last year next to the army camp for a private customer but they were the army camps trees.
  7. Does anyone know where I can buy steel bracing in the UK, been searching on Google and cant really find anything?
  8. Where can I buy steel cable bracing in England?
  9. I would probably say the same but this is only part of the tree and there are another 4 healthy stems, and they really don't want to lose the tree. Which is good in some respects instead of your normal person just saying "cut it down"
  10. As above I believe it to be a western red cedar do correct me if I am wrong.... The customer would like to keep it but is worried about it as its in the kids play area. Splits about 10ft from the ground into about 5 stems and one of them has been hit by lighting in the past we think. The trunk sounds very hollow most of the way up and the top 20ft is split to bugery. I have never cable braced before but I was going to suggest to reduce the tree but about 30ft ( all stems that is) and brace the remaining tree? the tree stands at about 70ft at the moment. What do you guys think?
  11. When you say hydraulic, do you mean as in head movement or in a 2 wheeled bigger engine self propelled hydraulic? like the Rayco RG25.
  12. When I say small I mean a 13hp grinder, I want a grinder that is bigger but will still go down the side of a house through a gateway. I don't have the money for a new grinder will be buying second hand. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  17. Ok so thought I would show the people on the fence what this saw is all about, I love it! at the start point of this video the saw had done about one tank of fuel so it is brand new! did a lime reduction today and the saw just gets better! Tried to keep it smallish size vid, bit of choging down at the end as well. Not the best vid I have put together but it will give you a picture about the saw [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VR8QmR75MM]Birch dismantle with a Stihl MS 150T - YouTube[/ame]
  18. Cheers guys. Yer sorry its so long I hate cutting it though lol Reason we rigged a lot was the grass was really well looked after so we wanted to minimize the about of damage to the lawn that's all though! we could have dropped about 95% of the tree! My man on the ropes chris has been with me for 3 months now and is a great asset to my company, he is picking it up really well
  19. It would be funny lol I think my fiancée has given up with me and saws/kit now now looking into a mewp I think the sh*t will hit the fan when she finds out about that purchase though
