Aboricultural/Forestry Estate Worker
The Whiteley Homes Trust is a charity which runs Whiteley Village, a community for the elderly set in 200 acres of Surrey woodland.
The Estate Department requires an Aboricultural/Forestry Estate Worker, who will • be responsible for the maintenance of the trees and woodlands around the estate • assist the department in all horticultural and silvicultural aspects of running the estate
Qualifications required: • National Certificate in Arboriculture or Forestry • Operator's tickets for skilled chainsaw use (NPTC units 30, 31, 38 & 39) • Mechanical operations qualifications
Salary: £14,000-£16,000

The Estate Department requires a Mechanic/Estate Worker, who will • be responsible for the full maintenance of all the equipment used by the department • assist the department in all horticultural and silvicultural aspects of running the estate
Qualifications required: • National Certificate or equivalent in agricultural machinery repair • Operator's tickets for tractors and diggers
Qualifications desirable: • NPTC chainsaw units 30 and 31
Salary: £14,000-£16,000
