  2. big tree adam bad luck on the extra climb made a school boy error myself the day come out of the tree pulled the rope out looked up and forgot about the rigging pulley so back up a went ha sods law

    its a good book every good arborist will own one you'll be fine mate take your time be safe and keep talking to your grounds person let them know what you are doing at all times good team work is important you will sail it once again good luck
  7. thanks atree just got to build on the experance which will all come in good time. it was a really nice climb even had a spectator for most of the time a old fellow watching from his window he even come out and made sure aye was'nt felling it dont you just hate folk like that watching your every move
  8. cheers peter aye noticed that my self on the big limb by the time aye did it to late to rectify my mistake duely noted tho. the reson for such a high lift is coz there is a large workshop being built under it should have explaind my actions more clearly soz

    like steve said bowline of all forms you could also try blakes hitch which you might be asked to deminstrate a three knot system ie bowline blakes hitch and stopper knot figure of eight also double figure of eight. buy your self the tree climbers companion good luck swoop
  10. yip got a couple of guys in the trade. ma boss got some tools ie connectors and crips off of his guy we also dropped a few lines. this was a thick cable but aye was only being careful will try that next time cheers
  11. cheers guys that was a nerve racking moment was waiting for different replys it take me a little longer than a thought but did'nt want to maul a shed or bt line they cost a packet these days.
  12. here's a lift and thin aye done the other week this is only the second time i've done this on this scale so be easy on me guys ha likly.a little bit of rigging involved due to bt wires and fence panals below. also two garden shed in the neighbouring garden

    Sad News

    very sad news my heart goes out to the family just goes to show that it does'nt matter how cearful a person you are accidents do happen. does any one know this guy ?
  14. was in clarks the day and they do the helmets in hi viz cool if you like that sort of thing
  15. am going to surf about and plan it a little better hopfully be able to get out in a year or so
