I use a komet 3m at the min and am pretty chuffedwith it. As others have said building your own can be advantageous, one of our other climbers has made his own using a new england flip line with the isc grab and a swivel crab, got to say i like it more than mine.
  10. Fishermans and blakes will be useful to know on your cs38/39. if you've got a spare few quid you could invest in dirk lignens tree climbers knotbook.

  17. Evening all just wondered if anyone had any numbers or information for bat inspectors in the nottinghamshire area? Ive got 12 large poplars that have blown over and are all hung up,alot of them are very rotten and full of good hiding places. I usually have a good look round a tree myself but these trees are way too dangerous to climb so could really do with some advice as to wot do? Cheers all
  18. Went zip lining through the sitka spruces in Alaska last year, was awesome, was alot of black bears roaming about with cubs too which was amazing to see as your flying through the air. the wire that they used was coated in a type of plastic, you used your hand with a glove on as the break.
