  1. There is minimal outlay costs in hedge cutting so anyone that can't make a profit aint doing it right. The key to making a profit in hedge trimming is to work hard and fast.

  3. Well done Stu n Ewan, I owe you both a pint at least. Here is the very last lots of the auction: Lot1) Andy's clock/thermometer set in Yew. Lot2) My favourite 'Elle' manbag in butch green complete with attached mobile holder and a pot of my favourite moisturiser complete with applicator.. Bidding for these two items ends tomorrow at 7pm.
  4. Mark Kneller is going to do an over-nighter at his place on the 14th and 15th of May. He hasn't posted it yet cos it's too early and the thread and meet will die a death if it lingers on for too long. The plan is to get Capel out of the way first, then put up the thread.

  9. Done it, so far the bidding stands at: Lot 1) £72.50 from me. Lot2) £45 from Woodpicker. Lot3) £35 from BBB. Add that to the total of £861 and so far we have raised £1013.50 and we still have another three hours to go before the auction ends. Anymore bids?

  16. So far the total raised for Dave is a staggering £861. This has gone way beyond what I was expecting. Well done to everyone who has taken part so far....
