  1. very nice work there. Id be proud of that one!
  2. theres a similar demand where im working. two people came to take all the logs from a pine tree the other day!
  3. Id say go for the stihl. Ive been a little put off by huskys, fink they're great saws but most of the ones i have used seem to have problems, even brand new ones. Not sure why. On the other hand never had any trouble with stihl, they start without any problems and dont play about after constant use. My personal opinion get the stihl it will serve you well.
  4. " I say smiften, surely to cut any further you must release the chain brake!"
  5. wow, that is amazing. How perfectly balanced them branches were after being cut shows the huge amount of skill involved. Full respect for that.

    bin it?

Yeah i think the best thing for that saw is parts, theres nothing like working on a tricky tree with a saw that keeps playing you about !
  7. yeah similar to that, except for on all fours, then arch your back towards the ceiling and then towards the floor if you get what i mean. count that as 1 and do 10 in total. Gets your back nice and warmed up before you go to work and put it under all types of strain. .
  8. That looks like an enjoyable job, lots of machinery and straight forward conifers to take down. Plenty to get stuck into:thumbup1:

  10. The new site looks great, design colours and everything, well done.
  11. I used to have a few minor back problems just over a year ago. would be working as normal just about to lift a log (normally the biggest i could find ) then get that dreaded twinge in your lower back forcing me not to carry too much weight for the rest of the day.Wasn't too sure what the answer was, spoke to somebody who had seen a doctor about it and he advised streches. Theres 6 diffrent ones to do in total which i narrowed it down to 3, its a pain getting out of bed first thing laying down and doing streches but for the 5 minutes it takes its well worth it. Ive been doing them for the last year and suffered no back problems atall and thinking about it no other real muscle trouble either. its surprising how much difference they have made.
