We have found our p38x great, vari tracks great for access and narrow gaps, good sweep and depth. If I was buying again though, I think I would spend the extra on the remote control, as manual lever controls can make your fingers stiff after a full day's grinding, other than that, love it

I run multi tip teeth on my predator 38x, when they start to blunt/slow down, there never seems anything left worth sharpening? Does anyone else sharpen these ones, can't see its worth it. Do people just scrap the old teeth, does seem a waste 🤷‍♂️

Afternoon, thanks for the feedback. Although we are hoping for someone with more experience and qualifications, I was also prepared to work with a less qualified / experienced applicant to build them up, and tried to offer a salary bracket to reflect this. I do see you point though that it could put off a more experienced applicant. Will look at the advert and see if I can reflect this better in the wording, or change the salary bracket, just don't want to put off someone newer to the industry. Thanks. Peter

We use Aspen 2 for everything now from hedge cutters to chainsaws, yes the machines seem to run better on it and we have less problems, but the main reason was for mine, and the teams health. The price addition per day to most jobs is not huge, and can be built into the costs. However that said, I can't bring myself to run the tracked grinder on Aspen 4 yet, but atleast you can stand away from the exhaust on that! Peter

Our Stein one we got several years ago. Great for jobs with a very long drag, but it is heavy, so generally only comes out on these long drags, where we pile on as much on as possible, then two of us drag it out. No issues with quality, and the solid tyres mean no punctures, it is just heavy to pull, so we find it only really comes out when there is a lot to move a long way (and you can't get a machine in [emoji6])
