Moving swiftly on...My final leg took me towards one of the most beautiful and awe inspiring parts of our wonderful island.Within an hour of leaving Wigan the landscape began to take on a whole new appearance as I entered....

In the last week or so I,ve travelled from Durham to Huddersfield to Tetbury/Westonbirt to Somerset and then up here to Wigan for the last day on this site(my third campsite of the week) Beautiful weather...Ugly shaped stem but it came down perfectly.Kev turned up with a couple of toys on demo from Orange plant.The stump grinder attachment wasn't, really up to the job but the skid steer with grab was amazing! Had Kentucky Fried chicken for the first time in years.Tasted rather good actually.But I,all stick my healthier diet.Great day working with these lads.....And so to my final destination on this arbventure......And to meet Hodge for the first time after a couple of years.

I always have the Family home there and it,s where my Grandchildren are so Durham City will always be home...no matter how far I have to roam.I shall be there this weekend.

Good morning Mick.After three years there I decided to peruse training and I got back on the road.Completed a four day course and achieved my Lantra awards instructional techniques certificate.I have a couple of things happening that I will elaborate on in due course Until then I am working for Kev Stephenson occasionally.

Found a suitable tree just to hop around and get a feel for them.I am very impressed and these will be my Silky pruning Boots!
