  1. We have to suffer rain and snow....freezing temperatures and high winds in this job so when the good weather kicks in i have the biggest smile on my face.....
  2. That's a shame Mr V. An Englishman's home is his castle and a good view is good for the soul especially from the watchtower...They got the weather spot on even down to the cloud a 1200 hours and we are now back to blue sky and warm sunshine.Perdect deadwooding weather.
  3. Just googled it and it looks stunning..When i lived in London i missed the beautiful landscapes of England so much.What a breathtaking Island we live on if you know where to look.

  8. 3.45 a.m and i feel like getting up....so i will...feel rested..certainly happy at the prospect of getting into work and the week is almost over and today looks like being another great one so why waste it?
  9. Its synthetic and also made up of refined high grade oils according to the label...stops resinification during downtime and reduces wear. It seems to have anti-fling qualities too. It feels very smooth and slippy...chain seems to pick up less crud. Oils well on my saw. Very happy with it...£4 or thereabouts for this

  14. It was covered in Horse's Hoof....with it's crown overhanging quite an important structure David.

  17. The old Mog and Crane has been with Premier for many years and although tired still does it's job.
  18. What a beautiful day from start to finnish.Apart from using the saw a frw times ot was all down to the Hand of Mog today.Location,down a country lane by a river in eonderfu sunshine.Job.To remove a deceptively large trunk from a stripped out willow.
  19. Teeth sharpened...rakers dressed ...unit cleaned...bar turned and filled with oil...ready for climbing.
