Excellent first day with Mr Mordecai....

I shall for the rest of the week be refreshing my CS 38/39/40/41...and then to cap it all off after that i get to meet Tree Folk at the Arbshow!...The perfect week...

So as i strolled around my ancient City (still fascinated with the scaffolding which now is fully enclosed) i can gather my thoughts on the rest of the week.

My name has been added to my hand on the Family wall.

And yesterday i bought my first non alcoholic drink in a bar ever....sparkling water.and just reflected on how lucky i am to live where i do and am blessed with a great job and wonderful family.

Took Great Grandma Fox to see Willow and i watched her sleep for two hours....The birth of my Grandaughter really has put life into perspective.

Thankfully the good folk at the pub had put it safely out of sight for me to find ....big sigh of relief....we've been through a lot me and Darkstar.

Thanks Nick...i certainly celebrated that night.Happiest feeling ever.Only casualty was my bike as i forgot to lock it up or take it home with me so quite a shock in the morning when i realised i had left it all alone somewhere!

It's a very lucky young Arb that get's placed with you David..You offer such a broad spectrum of training wether it's Full modern Arboricultural practices....Tree health/body language of trees...and all the modern toys that go with it....his mind will be like a sponge with you and your capable team mentoring him...Well done Monkey D.

Would be a shame to leave without sampling the Beer....this one is called Snow Eater and is "unfined" interestingly it has to do with the fact that the brewer is a Vegan and it does not contain elements of a fish's swim bladder??? Google it....i'm too tipsy to explain....My bicycle is noe rather blurrey!

Forced to get another "One for the road" to negate the taste of the Fruity cizzer.That's more like it.Back to the Moorland's dry and at a strength of 6.2 far more heady and sayisfying...Cheers Arbtalkers! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
