  3. By this evening there wasn't a cloud to be seen.....it's going to be the BIG heat wave tommorow so stay focused tommorow lads and lasses.Keep cool.
  4. What a Sorcher today with only patchy cloud occasionally taking the sting out of the heat.

Haha...just down from Northumberland (County Durham.Durham City to be precise) Never ever felt so healthy and full of life right now.But i shall look at getting in the sodium.I'm back on bread,plenty of salad with my tuna or turkey today.Think the pease pudding had a tiny ammount of salt in it.

  8. We are doing pruning work but taking shade breaks often...got through four litres of water today.

What a watering hole this is.Informative and relaxing.....No jukebox or pool table or television.Just great refreshment and conversation.If you are ever in Durham City,you have to visit this place.The beverage in this picture was "Whin Hill" (Sparkling but dry Norfolk Cider) £3.80 a pint and 6.8%

It's last orders for me.Hope everyone has enjoyed this Summer day.I am going to enjoy this pint of Milk Stout called "Dazed and Confused" before i venture up the hill to home.Looking forward to some enjoyable tree climbing next week.Temperature is set to peak on Tuesday though..i'll be happy to be in the shade of tge Canopy.

  14. And of course today is Grandad Tree day...so being with Ozzy is bliss.
  15. Aye it's been a special weekend.Brass band festival in the City was an excellent soundtrack to the days....
  16. Thanks...My philosophy is quite simple.Live life to the full....be good to others and most importantly BE POSITIVE....I met Will through Arbtalk.So wanted him to share the Silky sffect.I gained a new friend....enjoyed some incredible Ales and Cider's and got a T-Shirt.....A winning weekend.

  19. Cheers Mr Gand...showed Will around the City and he is a big Lego fan so got him a brick to add....over 300,000 pieces now and with only 2,000 to go to complete it.
