  5. I got this email today!! Anyone else had something like this?? I am on the Hunt for a surgeon that is willing to fell three extremely large pine trees in my garden, however I would like them to do it for FREE and using the felling of the tree to sell as logs for their own profit. I have had quotes and just find them terribly expensive with two children, the trees are dangerously close to the house so I must have them gone. I have no use for logs so I am hoping someone can make profit from them. please let me know if this is something you are interested in doing.

  22. Well done dude! Its a sweet feeling
  23. Thanks for all the advice lads I'm just going to go in with a price thats right for me. Like peter said I dont want to get half way through it and realise im breaking my back for nothing!! One thing I dont want to do is spend all my time on this contact and not do jobs elsewhere. Like Stephen said aswell I think she is just getting quotes in off people so im not getting my hopes up! But it is still exciting I could probably give her quotes for just a day rate aswell as per tree! And invoice her everyweek and if she falls behind on payment I have nothing to lose except the week work!
  24. I have just started my own business its small just me and a groundsman. I got this email of a customer! hi, just for a starter, could you give me a guide, just a guide to how much it would cost to pollard upto 150 trees varying in size from 15 to 25m tall.? access to large vehicle if required. just an idea for now please. possible ongoing programme for future maintenance on the same. I have got to go meet her next week. I have only been doing residential work so for me to price this up i have not got a clue so need advice!! Should I charge a day rate at less than what I normally charge which is 330 or price per tree. This could be really good for my business to make it a lot bigger and I really could do with some advice...
