  1. jeez, thats harsh, you hear so many horror stories about ag machinery....

My Grandad lost all the fingers on his right hand in a Combine. All he kept was the thumb. He carried on working for 30 old years. Good old boy!!

Best wishes to your Dad Foord...

  2. What size is the tree? How big is big?? If you aren't happy about doing something, let the boss know!! He might call you a girl at the time, but He'll swear a lot more if you get up there and something goes wrong because you're flustered!!:bored:

Tell him that you want the 020 as well!!!

    Just my opinion though!!

Good luck mate, Hope it all goes to plan!!!:thumbup1:

  3. Also keep a bit of record of what you learn from it. This comes in handy in the future especially when you are going for interviews. Create some kind of professional development record

Definatley!! If its work experience, I would recommend having as many photos taken of you doing work to back up your report. Colleges love that!!:001_smile:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
