Thanks David, yes part of the attraction is the Honda engine, When you say "ok" could you expand a little please?
ye its ok id say, as in you push branches in 1 end and it shoots out the other lol
im certinly happy with it. i paid around £2600 inc vat for an ex demo one. i think from memory thats a good bit cheaper than the rest and it had the better engine in my opinion.
originally i was wairy of buy such a small chipper but they do let you work really efficiently.
ideally youd have a bigger engine and maybe the 18hp green mech would be better and save you having to feed in big bits slowly. (this causes a lot of vibrations to your fingers)
whatever machine you get you need to keep the blades sharp.
-
iv got one. its ok id say. a good bit cheaper than the jo-baeu or greenmech.
the reason i got it was more because it has a honda engine (i like hondas ) and it was half the price of the jo-baeu.
-
i burn tons of the stuff every week on fire in yard.. if you ask me there worthless..
thats what i mean:001_smile:
Ty dont burst yourself trying to find a buyer. let your cliant do the searching if they think theyl can get money back for them
-
let your cliant find a buyer and give them a price to cut them to the size they specifi.
there not worth much
-
is there any drainage in there?
sounds a bit like you'd just be skiping round the under lying problem
-
the back tree is doing a barbers chain at the end

No turbo 100bhp,
But I am now thinking about a bigger engine 150bhp to bring it in line with the other mogs. I know that they are more or less the same engine and you change bit and bobs to power it up.
might just change fuel injectors to bring it up 130bhp
its not the injectors you change to up the power, there a screw in the pump.
to go above 130hp you really need a turbo and a bit extra oiling ability in the block
personally i wouldnt put any more than 130hp in your U1000
-
is it the OM352 not turdo version thats in your mog?

Even a small Kubota can drive the pump even though it cant lift the splitter.
marko how many hp is your kubota?
-
iv a 10tonne woodline multipla that im thinking of trading for a bigger spllitter if your interested
-
at 200 bar it'll give you 19 tonne
cool someone thats better at working out force / pressure / area than me
still not sure if it'l be strong enough to split 16 ways say for the big rings:001_smile:
-
are u sure that rams heavy enough?
at 110mm bore youl probibly get less than 15tonne out of it unless you go over the recomended pressure (200bar?)

seen this and thought it might give you some ideas

could you get a local farmer it with a flail mower?
strimming brambles is not fun!!
-
how old is your landrover?
i thought the earlyer 10p engines suffered from oil in the wiring loom but the later 15p and 19p engines had this fault fixed
-
my problem is that the filter recently never seems to fully fill up with fuel ,
is this actually restricting the engine?
iv seen loads of filters with air in and the engines run fine.
-
had some wheel chocks that worked ok till i put bigger tires on and now she tries to climb over them so back to relying on brakes.
when pulling trees over and the wire is heading upward from the landrover it helps to put them on the rear axle rather than the front.
im sure some kinda spade think that pivits on the front axle could be knocked up easy enough
-
what about a big set of wheel chocks?
-
even the dealers dont know when the price is going up, they just get told on the friday afternoon. i was told by a dealer that if you order one now for delivery in 3 months say youl pay todays price.
of course he could have been lying
-
(needs to be hard standing as only one wheel drive
Many Thanks
Scott.
