  1. Thanks David, yes part of the attraction is the Honda engine, When you say "ok" could you expand a little please?

ye its ok id say, as in you push branches in 1 end and it shoots out the other lol

im certinly happy with it. i paid around £2600 inc vat for an ex demo one. i think from memory thats a good bit cheaper than the rest and it had the better engine in my opinion.

originally i was wairy of buy such a small chipper but they do let you work really efficiently.

ideally youd have a bigger engine and maybe the 18hp green mech would be better and save you having to feed in big bits slowly. (this causes a lot of vibrations to your fingers)

whatever machine you get you need to keep the blades sharp.

  2. i burn tons of the stuff every week on fire in yard.. if you ask me there worthless..

    thats what i mean:001_smile:

Ty dont burst yourself trying to find a buyer. let your cliant do the searching if they think theyl can get money back for them

  3. No turbo 100bhp,

But I am now thinking about a bigger engine 150bhp to bring it in line with the other mogs. I know that they are more or less the same engine and you change bit and bobs to power it up.

might just change fuel injectors to bring it up 130bhp

its not the injectors you change to up the power, there a screw in the pump.

to go above 130hp you really need a turbo and a bit extra oiling ability in the block

personally i wouldnt put any more than 130hp in your U1000

    :001_smile:

  4. had some wheel chocks that worked ok till i put bigger tires on and now she tries to climb over them so back to relying on brakes.

when pulling trees over and the wire is heading upward from the landrover it helps to put them on the rear axle rather than the front.

im sure some kinda spade think that pivits on the front axle could be knocked up easy enough
