Wanlockhead. About half way between Glasgow and Dumfries

I dont
Ok. Out of curiosity what is this based on?
-
iv got new and old style sitting side by side. The new is defiantly lighter built. The mesh on the ladder rack is half as think.
Also its not until you collect your new trailer that they tell you that the ramp holder is now an optional extra on the new model. Do you know anyone that dose not have ramps on there trailer?
-
What RPMs dose the engine want to be doing for both the machines?
id have thought the pto cone would want to be at tick over and the hydraulic splitter would want to be a lot faster
-
i have a logic flail, its a bit under powered so you need to go slowly which quads dont like. I tow mine behind the avant with another hydraulic one mounted on the front (two passes at one go)
-
If your branches are produced on the farm anyway why not burn on site or create Eco-plies?
-
Yes but the avant can't lift up to 4.5m can it
Avant would still be better for various other reasons imo
-
that would be the ideal chipper for the job but at 50 percent of the cost of the mog i just cant afford it at the moment. looks very similar to tp 200.
ducker and tp are more or less the same but opposite. if you know what i mean. ducker on the front, tp on the rear. Front mount is the way to go with mogs

Cleanwell is my choice only because they dont work with technical printed circuit boards, just simple enginering
-
£60 a meter supplied and fitted at 6ft high.
That's what I would be looking for.
I used to buy timber from the cheap place round here, IV now learned by my mistake if you know what I mean.
-
iv got a tp760 pto and my avant420 which lifts a max of 500kg can move it around (just)
-
WS Diesels are the lambardini agents, may can help with engine and fuel. not sure on the hydraulic filter

Do you need to use / graze the paddock? could it just be mowed regulary?
iv been treating the stuff for 3 years now on 3 sites. the various chemicals that iv used have killed the top but they always put new shoots up.
iv tryed rolling them to break the straw, spraying 2 days in a row, letting it grow and spraying in autum. its still there this spring

itl be fine. my tank is about 10 liters and keeps up ok
-
theres a guy round here runs 1 as a lime spreader
-
Send me a pm if your interested

How did you have yours mounted to bend it?
its the way iv mounted it on a avant. if you look at the jaw that goes inside the other theres no brasing for sideways movment
-
Iv got one. Itl be fine mounted like sam has it but i bent mine. id say there ok for the money but could do with a bit more reinforcing
-
can you get a tractor and blade hedge cutter along side the hedge?
-
Over run trailer brakes only slow you down when going forwards not when your getting dragged backwards
-
No it wont. the 300 has a blade length of 300mm and the 500 is (probobly) 500mm, so the drum etc is wider. i take it you know the 300s shoot can either go left or right

I think the ec banned importing the victa 2stroke engines due to the emissions
crazy
