  1. Seemed quite a well done job with quality stuff to be fair, but £1500?!! I've asked for the companies number and I'll phone my insurance company tomorrow
  2. Good advice,it's in 2 strips of 8mx4m joined,if you can't see the join surely you can't see a repair join
  3. Put my topper down on this surface last week, burnt 4 golf ball size holes in it,I took no payment for the job, customer now says he needs a whole 8mx4m section relaying, £1500,trying to pull my pants down I think,I can put it through PLI but surely it can be repaired? All burns within a square metre, anyone any experience of this? Thanks guys
  4. 5105? Best 50cc out there in my opinion
  5. I've got 2 as back up,half a day on one and the vibes get you compared to newer saws
  6. Good solid saw, starts on the button,I've had a chain brake band and 2 spark plugs in 3 years
  7. I was always led to believe they were rated at 2 ton payload in France, that's alot of onions
  8. Halcyonic spectacles!! Great workhorses but bouncy ride, crap heater, crap radio and crap for your back..........loved the 2 that I had though
  9. I've a newish echo hand held, its rubbish compared to the stihl and husky, takes an age to warm up and get going, bit like me these days
  10. I'm up to 200k miles not 63k!! Cheaper agreed, just long term costs,I can see both sides but wouldn't buy new
  11. If it's your only vehicle good point,I run my old cabstar (no expense spared mechanically) a nissan 4wd and trailer and my family car (disco) is there for back up,all have tow bars so I have no down time
  12. I bought a nissan cabstar 7 years ago for 3k,it cost me £700 to get it straight,it's cost me nearly a grand on some mot''s and hardly anything on others,it's done 200k now and still going strong,it'll cost you the same IMO if you patch up an old one or finance a new one
  13. I recently swapped an old 254xp back up saw to 3/8,cutting ash coppice, performed well
  14. I generally pay about 70 quid and the blade is fully re-tipped,I believe they used to be braised on but are now stuck on
