  1. what gets me is this guy had money large house huge gardens ,and yet he rather pay joe bloggs than get professionals in to do it one of my work mates lives next door,its unbelivable i found out next day they shimed up it taking all the branches off then put arope on top ,pulled it off the house with a van taking out the porch yeeeha! comes to mind

  3. thats the photo my college phoned me to go look at this mess and to give the guy a price i turned up looked at it .and laughed ,it had gone through the roof there was a porch under it,it was a shambles hindge cut through they were walking around scratching their heads i told the owner of the house that i had a tracked platform back at the house and if we agreed on a price i would be 20mins we didnt agree so i went home still laughing..

  10. when you start to take down a 7oft poplar and the neighbours, dont want anything dropping into the garden not even twigs and stand under tree so you cant do any work,but they are moaning to the owner about the mess with the tree dropping leaves..etc.etc..and then hes standing the other side of the hedge giving it the big one,wot do you do ??
  11. place bucket of water above mess room door ,just hope the manager doesnt walk in first.. or put flour in the air vents of the van .

    we were sent too take a dead limb out of a large oak,we got to site pulled out the big shot ,throw bag ,pull rope walks to the oak ,decided to fire line over then attach heavy line to see if we could pull it out,craig passes me bag i place it in pouch of big shot pulls back fires the bag goes over the limb followed by around 80m of line never to be seen again..:mad1:the rest of the day didnt get any better...

  16. the hobbs is alot bigger than the grcs,we got one with swansea council,its a very good bit of kit its the price range the only thing with the grcs is if the groundies arnt trained up propely on how to use the ratchet for lifting the rope can get caught and it mangles the outer sheaf...other than that they are as good as each other:thumbup1:
  17. twice i scrimped and saved up for one the last two years,with out telling my wife when she found out that i had money put away, she wanted a car ..but the best one was the first car she had ,she hadnt passed her test..lol..
