  5. proud tommer ent the word i could not belive how well it went for its first run. im going to sort the probelms this week then if the weather is nice next week end it will run again. i just cant belive i made it and it runs so well, all that hard work was worth it in the end

  8. iv had a great day started at 8.30 getting ready to steam my little engine and she run as sweet as a nut all day got to sort 4/5 things but what a day im well happy here are some pic just trying to load vids up on youtube at the moment
  9. spare time and hobbie is playing with traction engines but iv also bin building this just finished after 2 and a half years it was its the first time its gone round the track today :thumbup:

  13. its took me 2 years and 5 months and all thats bin done on thursday nites between 8-12. i will be glad when it goes round the track but im worryed about takin the first trip its a really funny feeling as iv drove miles on steam trains/traction engines but its the first one iv built i will get a vid of it next week end

  17. bee line works on Imori but gribs really hard iv tryed about 5 diffrent cords and Armor Prus 8mm works best thats what iv found out
  18. i think im going to stick with Sequioa sempivirens on the first pic i went to a nursery man to day and thats what he said it was but could not work out why it goes that brown tree 2 i thought maybe cupressus glabra pyrbmidalis but some of u have come up with some intresting names that i have looked in to and now im more comfused
  19. does the bark peal on Cupressus arizonica iv just looked some pic up on the net and to me it looks like it peals tree 2 the bark dont peal but the trunk looks the same
  20. and i think the 2nd one is cupressus glabra pyramidalis but not shore
  21. sequoia sempervirens thats what i thought and belive it to be but i could not work out why it goes that colour so the lady said its done that since shes lived there over 25 years
  22. and here is tree 2 witch im not to shore about and its on a diffrent site
  23. went to a job this morning found this really intrestin tree at first i thought it was a big yew, then the woman come out and asked me what it was so i went to have a closer look so the lady said it goes that colour every winter before coming out green i just wondered if anyone wanted to have a stab at it
