took this ash down 2 weeks ago the customer wanted me to carve a lump out the trunk to make a seat so i said i will have a go never done any carving work before now the idea was to carve it out with the 441 and do the finishing of with the 200 but as never of them wanted to run i done it with the 660 and a 30inch bar j

i done one about a year ago nice looking bark i had never seen one before i just done what i normaly do, reduce to the next bud or branch i see it about 3/4 weeks ago it was still alive and looking good

thats what i thought first matty but the little hole round the back of the tree started me thinking looks to me like a little bug eatin its way in the tree i but a stick in the hole to see how deep in the tree it when (about 5 inch)

no mate its still sit on the bench just waiting to find myself a bit of time to get in the work shop at dads and then work out with machine im going to use :lol: done all the messure ments and it should all work out i will let u no what happens

as u all ready have a ms390 just go for the 660 i have a 441 i love the saw use it as a ground saw and its the first saw i would pick up but if ur thinking about ringing big wood or speeding a job up go for the 660

i will try and keep the good work up mate its hard as iv got so many projects on the go (i get bored) 024,046,fs400,danarm 1-71-ss, husq 65 when it gets here, chip box, restore a ransomes mg2, bristol 10, caterpiller R2 and just about to start to make a new 5 inch steam train :lol: and always on the look out for more things to do
