  1. What are you using them for? On my second pair, first were the stretch air arborist and now the new arborist, they are superb. Hard wearing, very flexible, waterproof. Almost make me a half decent climber since converting from SIP. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. And you can buy iron on repair patches....keeps the wife happy ?

  2. Had mark 3 and 4 hiluxs, absolutely brilliant, but as has been said towing capacity is poor and they ain't quick but reliable with good build quality. Only problem I had was with leaf springs, but fitting the upgraded springs with greese points and poly bushes, never a problem since

  3. I think a bit of tree knowledge would be more valuable than saw tickets if you want to go it alone. Imagine pricing and you couldn't name the trees, or suggest how and when to prune, or what would be best for the tree, and better for the client in the years to come. Tree knowledge and biology is very important and learning how and why to prune properly. Good luck ?

  5. Replace air filter (if needed), change spark plug, replace fuel filter (in tank) clean down inside of cooling fins etc on saw properly. Clean spark arrestor on exhaust ( if your saw has one). Check and replace drive sprocket if worn. Check the brake band for wear on the chain brake. Check starter cord for wear (mainly both ends) normally worth replacing if you've taken it apart to check properly. I'm sure people will add more to my list. Good luck

If you search on eBay for a 346xp but widen the search area to European Union its a German seller on there. You can pay with PayPal so risk to your money. He’s the only guy selling new ones so won’t be hard to find.

I would have paid £600 for one but they are £1400 now ?
