putting a bigger engine in will put more stress on the bearings. 900 quid sounds good. can anyone give me advise on tuning the carb?

I had a new engine put in mine last November by Universal Engine Power in Dumnow, Essex, the engineer got the wiring diagram from Timberwolf when he fitted the engine for us
and how much?

http://www.kohlerengines.com/common/resources/tp_2428_b.pdf
as you can its not the same. if anyone has got the one for the ch25s i would be grateful. i think the one im after looks like this:
its the service manual not the owners one.

if i change the connectors so i can plug in a 22 ton splitter to the hydraulic pipes on my chipper, then remove the belts running the fly wheel. will the hydraulic pump on my entec 25hp have enough power and will the engine also have the power? anyone done this already?

i was always told that to season wood you need to season it outside for 12mths and dry it out undercover for 12mths. i have my own thoughts on this!!
it all depends on the wood and how its stored. i sell all mine as green split logs, so im not bothered. whats considered seasoned, below 20% moisture?

i thought that it was 2 years for oak.

verbal agreements do not stand up in court even if they are recorded. also they should tell you that the call is being recorded at the start by law. they dont have a licence to collect the debts either. i agreed to the advertising until i discovered they were a con. im not giving them a penny. loads of people have been had, the mirror have an article on them.

Well, had chance to give the new 7900 a warm up and a try out on the timber pile this morning, semms really nicely balanced, revs like billy oh and plenty of grunt too. Postie turned up with 28" Oregon Power match foor it about 1/2hour after I'd fired it up with 18" standard bar. Had a swap over to the 28", not done any serious cutting but still not bad balance especially when held horizontal as for a felling cut. Seems to have plenty enough acceleration and grunt with the bigger bar. I hope it is as good as it appears to be on first impressions especially as comes in for under £400 ex vat and delivery and even the bigger bar chain only adds on another £80. Surely I can't have found a really genuine bargain after 40 years of trying:sneaky2:
where did you buy your makita from?

its all lies, they are the worst type of scum. if they get your address then they invoice you even if you say no.
