  1. i thought the location was great but the food was crap and too expensive and the entry fee was a tad pricey!!!! over all though i enjoyed the whole experience, i recon there should of also been a big board with all the start dates on for the carving, pole climbing and lumberjack sports up as it would of made life a bit easier
  2. didnt think you was a window cleaner steve:001_tongue:

true it is a foresters show but its evolving, it would be pi** poor without all the woodcraft, arb stalls, smaller chipper stands and also monkeys fav the mewp stands. not to mention the copy of ESSENTIAL ARB you get on arrival............but im not biatching
  5. after talking to a few people at the show i think we will do some time in the north and some in the south:001_tt1:
  6. haix haix haix all the way, never had them split and in reality i think 18months for a climber is a good life span

  17. like steve said, if your any good then your diary will fill up, you soon learn who you like and who you dont and what works best for you, it turned me into a bit of a work-a-holic tho, the mrs aint to happy some times:001_tongue: personally i love buying my own kit etc and you will see a greater money turn over as well
  18. re: bad practice:thumbdown:
  19. 2 ends of your rope is fine untill the loop comes off the ground which is illegal and highly dangerous, i climb with a rope and long soft strop with half of it daisy chained so it can be used as a small secondary anchor if need be, also just take a redirect with you and you cant go wrong
  20. i always look where i would reduce it to or how id take it down in my head:001_tongue: there is 2 90ft planes out the back or peterbough that are un touched, simply magnificiant!
  21. if the half hitch is set right followed by a running bowline then there is no reason for it to come undone, if in doubt cut a notch or put in another half hitch
