  8. Yes doing a bit(transmittion lines),Could be alot more in 09'(distribution) It doesnt exite me other than its easy to organise. Got alot of low voltage work for 09-2010 all my guys are ticketed.If i stay in trees i bet ill be fairly big lineclearing monster in 5 years,its the only tree work you dont have to really watch employees IMO. Just low margins if the utility wants to screw you with K.P.Is' and auditers from hell.

  12. Yes mate thats were we work from,Most of my gear is pretty long in the tooth to be honest the travel tower has 600,000kms on it and my patrol has 500,000kms both original engines!!

    It depends what eucy it is,mountain ash and blue gum is crap,nicoli spits and is just ok. Any of the boxes or red gum is premiun in short.
  16. Dont have much problem with the husky cans (i buy jonsered cheaper and same same)Is anyone advertising on this site selling the stihl cans?

Well this is as far as ive got with the truck painted, chassis blacked,new tyres full service and winch controller.Have all the tipping kit havnt been able to get it built all too busy with better paying stuff:sad: Rebuilt my stump grinder new pins, belts, pulleys, bearings put a 60 hp turbo duetz on 10k new which i thought was ok,got the guys to pull stickers off sand and mask up much to there dismay and had it painted and new screeen.

    Nightmare.

    Been doing loads of similar hedge jobs lately,IMHO theres never enough $$$ to be made but it is work,Have a cherry picker with a hydraulic saw which makes it more bearable. I find customers always get a decent tree service after there had it done 1-2 times poorly:mad1:
