  1. The new drum bandits impress me,the drum size is good. The BC1000 vermeer as well for capacity/weight..
  2. The motivation to work a full week evades me,Staffing issues can be difficult.
  3. 23 meter tadano tower,on a hino carrier.
  4. Had 2 ground guys cutting down a row of gums today,was a joy driving off and leaving them at it!
  5. Im buying new tips for $2 a peice so i only sharpen the carbide then re-tip.
  6. Is it viable to run a bigger chipper rolla?or is the firewood worth dealing in?
  7. 6.5 t/cap mitsi factory tipper,towing a 10" 80hp air cooled hatz chipper with lift/ crush and little wear from 4000 hrs of chipping. Not looking to upgrade anytime soon,does the job well. Toyota landruiser SWB 4wd with a rayco 1642 towbehind grinder. International truck with 60' abbey boom(tool box has been removed since picture)
  8. Powerline guards,bottom boom is steel,top isinsulated lv/hv I wont be selling in a hurry Rolla,but im open to offers.If i told you what i paid your jaw would hit the floor!

  11. Been working tidying up a few things on it,has a new perkins engine and all the rams have been resealed and replaced the slew brake,could make a tidy profit on it already.
  12. Very good truck, a freind has the same rolla and tows a 12" rayco chipper no problem. IMO the best of the lot in its class.
  13. The softer knives are better if your doing roadside stuff where theres gravel/rocks around and the hard set are better on landclearing jobs. I think it would be hard to beat these knives http://www.blakeley.com.au/

  17. Ive run identical(hard sweedish) and soft steel knives(vermeer) side by side.
  18. Its an "abbey" brand boom(common as horse shit here) Trev will be flying it no problem,ill be updating into a 120-150k bucket within 12-24months and keep him working,possibily a 20meter telescopic boom with fly to basket,huntsmans dont bite Nate!
  19. I hired new new employee 2 days ago,he's already had one sick day!ill make sure he makes it back in longer days.
  20. Recently brought myself a 60' knuckle boom tower,pictures and progress on clean up to follow. Its mounted on an international carrier.
