  1. I would use one of these and a forsner bit on extension bar or a decent long series drill bit. Use to have a similar one to do fire doors with until it got pinched, never replaced it tho. Might do one day.

  2. Lovely looking bit of work there Ian , I especially like the use of " butterfly ties " across the cracks , I use them myself sometimes but always make them black . I am planning a few tables like this myself in summer , I have all the wood ,just waiting till it is all dry enough to size, assemble and finish . Terry ...

     

    Cheers Terry , I've got an ash bench to do next still drawing that one up tho. A few more table , mirror ideas too.

  3. Its the robert sorby turnmaster duluxe set.

    Thing is i cant work out how to fit these two together lol. The two inserts wont allow this to fit and if i just pop it in, its not snug [ATTACH]178836[/ATTACH]

     

    It's a soverign handle system, there should be two collets. slide the collet in holes facing the grub screws then slide in tool and tighten grub screws
