  1. Or just spray is with a fire retardant spray then put your finish on , also use common sense and don't leave it unattended. When selling to the public you don't have to use glass inserts, but you have to provide them with a safety data sheet if selling with candles.

    I have also seen the glass inserts crack so really all down to common sense.

Most of you will probably think this is brown oak , ( created by fistulina hepatica ) ...however it is Sweet Chestnut and is this colour due to Laetiporus sulphereus which causes the same / similar discolouration and subsequent cubical decay given time , just an example of how pretty rotting wood can be ....I especially like the several sets of concentric circles in the grain

  3. It's impossible for mods to get every single little swear word or disagreement, people forget mods do this voluntary in their own time, they have there own work and families. I think compaired to other forums they are doing a great job. If you don't like what people have said send a pm or press the report button simples.
