  1. The Makita 7901 is the same as the Dolmar 7900 and from those who have used it, it gets rave reviews. I don't know about the other models though.
  2. Nooooooo!!! Not another Stihl vs. Husky thread!
  3. I just ordered the first bag on this page: http://www.bigagnes.com/str_acc.php#duff A fellow at the ISA conference had one and it looked to be pretty bombproof. I'm hoping it's as sturdy as it looks.
  4. Rich I noticed the same thing. Taking up slack requires care in technique, otherwise it is possible to advance the Ropeman up the line.
  5. The M is a nice trick to have. I've only used it a few times but it's come in quite handy. Pete's method also works well. How about redirects that are retrievable in the tree without pulling your line from your main TIP?
  6. Haha, thats why we do it day in and day out!
  7. My 200T did the same thing when it was only a week old. Fortunately it hasn't done it again since.
  8. I've finally made up my mind and ordered a TreeMotion only to discover they're on backorder. I guess they're waiting on the second production run still. I got to play with a friend's for a couple weeks, and after the first few days of constant adjustments I found a really liked the saddle a lot. Pete, I like the idea of the two lanyards when blocking down, much simpler. Although that does mean you don't have a quick way to bail out if necessary.
  9. Aloha! Looking forward to seeing the new forum develop Steve.
