  4. it was hammered into me by an old timer, and have learnt through experience that its spot on. beech can be a little unpredictable otherwise.

  8. i was under the impression that equipment didnt need testing till its 6 months old. i was shocked to hear of a college not too far from me charging students to get their brand new kit lolered before they could use it.

  12. just got the measurements through on that beech tree, comes in at 312 cubic feet, which equates to roughly 15.5 ton

  16. mark, note at the very end of the video when the camera pans onto the trunk, you can see how the fibres have held at the buttreeses
  17. no idea. i would expect half a day for 2 men (the estate provided an additional man + tractor + teleporter, plus traffice lights, bill must have run up somewhere in the region of £600-£700
