Got given a load of horse shoes the other day for scrap and wondered what I could do with them...a quick google search later and I decided to make a wine rack, not finished yet but hopefully you should get the gist. Just waiting to get some round bar this week to tie the two sides together :). They look fairly new!

I've cleaned them up with a wire wheel on a drill, there more rustic looking than it looks in these pics, will get some better picks when it's finished

Hmm,

 

looks like a good idea, but wont you need a lot more horse shoes? my wine rack holds a couple of hundred bottles - but no where near as attractive.

Haha something that size would be rather time consuming, not to mention you would need a fork lift to move it!!!
