John, what's the tree in the third last shot.

Can't really tell, Mulberry?

.

Yep, Mulberry it is; a seriously old one I would hazard. Propped up limbs v precarious with very non-purpose lengths of softwood, one of which is sinking into the limb or should I say the limb is growing around it. The garden shown has some 6 acres or so of nice trees; an 80' silver maple, some nothofagus. Not mad on those massive Mackies mind! West Devon is plastered with em!

A long shot but I have a non-running Sisis Trio Rotorake in my shed. Free to anyone who wants it. Be aware though that it's a lump and is not self-propelled.

TCD: a bit of a hijack - apologies - but if you know anyone your way I could deliver next time I visit Devon.

Second thoughts Jon it will only sit in the shed for years until I got time to tinker, better to let it go to someone who could make better use of it.

Darn!

Pat, it went into a large garden machinery place a couple of years ago and they fobbed me off. Apparently it needs points and condenser but they didn't know which ones to get as there was no number on the B&S engine!

The machine's from the 80s but the engine is a year 2000 replacement.
