Glad to help. As for the matter at hand; sodium chlorate you can eat (a bit) and suffer no ill effects so why the European paranoia I don't know. Yes, it persists but looking at some the effects of many other legal chemicals and it doesn't seem to make sense.

Ah - it's used domestically and there's no such thing as the domestic lobby. The farming lobby however is powerful... and I have farming in my background a bit.
