I think what Johnny is getting at is that there looks to be marks on the paint on the flywheel pully where then sensor would read from, looks like its made contact?

 

Bet my jensens done double the hours of yours and isnt snapped there

 

Wow sorry, only 15 hrs? Mines been to the moon and back!!!

The dealer I got it from (1 of the 4 in the UK) haven't been overly helpful and I'm wondering if I should be compensated for my time repairing it and job interruptions??

I must admit ive been tempted from changing from jensen ownership due to local dealers, just recently found one that talks some sence so may be ok :D

 

Watch out for sub dealers!!

Which is that mate? Yeah got it from a main dealer ex demo very low hours but seems like it could be a bit of a lemon!

I'm on my third Jensen and had no problems apart from the expected ones.

I stick with Jensen because the after sales service from Arbrep Services is excellent.

 

However, I do think that your first move should have been to get the dealer to sort this rather than ask this forum for opinions. Plenty of the folks that offer strong opinions on here have never used a chipper!
