Maintenance on a used CS100 Chipper

My first post and first chipper!!:confused1:

I'm new to the garden and tree maintenance business having retired two years ago. I have my two basic chain saw courses etc and have done a number of jobs on my own and with a few friends. (Always happy to help anyone out in the Herefordshire area )

Anyway. Ive been lucky enough having researched this and a few other sites to purchase a CS100.

Questions: What do i need to check when I first see it.

If i do get it, what would be a good spares box to have and what do I

need to keep an eye on.

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Thanks

Kerf

They are good machines and maintenance is simple, I'd check what's been said above and that you get the gauges supplied when new to check the anvil is set right for the blades after sharpening. The manual tells you how to use them and the seller should know what you mean if not I'm sure greenmech will sell a new set.
