  1. I had the same issue and it took two hours to eventually remove the bolts as they’d been untouched for a long time when I first bought it. I’ve now gone to Allen bolts and problem solved as well as using a little copper grease when on the threads. Not had an issue with the greasing as yet.
  2. Hello all. My Greenmech CS 100 chipper has somehow twisted the cutting cassette and I’m on the hunt for a complete cassette or drum. Does anyone do them? Suppliers advise me they can build new ones but can take several weeks etc. Thanks Kerf
  3. Well I've used my CS 100 copper loads since i recently snapped it up on eBay and thanks to the helpful replies re my first post. Gotta say the machine is simply awesome for its size etc and touch wood, hasn't skipped a beat. Only slight issue was it kept stopping after about 10 mins of work so after a little head scratching found out the choke was simply working its way out. Quick fix with a rubber band and hey presto back in the game. As for the running of it, again very pleased, drum drops out easily, only issue someone decided to tighten the blade bolts with a punch and hammer. Issue sorted and new blades in old away for sharpening locally. So thinking of a chipper this is the one for us small guys.
  4. Thank you for taking the time to reply. [emoji106]. At least I have something to go on now. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. My first post and first chipper!! I'm new to the garden and tree maintenance business having retired two years ago. I have my two basic chain saw courses etc and have done a number of jobs on my own and with a few friends. (Always happy to help anyone out in the Herefordshire area ) Anyway. Ive been lucky enough having researched this and a few other sites to purchase a CS100. Questions: What do i need to check when I first see it. If i do get it, what would be a good spares box to have and what do I need to keep an eye on. Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks Kerf
