Local Gvt workers

I'm interested to know how many arbtalk members are local government employees?

 

Has anyone had to go through the job evaluation and appeal in front of a panel etc?

Worked for local council for 10 years, They re-evaluated everybodys jobs & you had climbers on same salery as litter pickers/gardeners, complete waste of money & time.If your salery went down it was frozen where it was for 4 years. Anyway, that council doesn't have inhouse tree surgeons anymore, we all left. Kcking up a fuss & appealing didn't get us anywhere.

Lived with him for about 4 months in 2003 whilst we were doing a bit of snowboarding for the season... top geezer.

Trained with Neath & Port-Talbot Council but left after 18 months because of crap pay.
