your solenoid sounds like its bolloxed swap the two round about and try that failing that a loose or corroded connection inside the plug I've seen in the past a corroded solenoid shank gripping the spool inside and stopping a valve working

 

 

Cheers, I have swapped them but still doing it! I shall take apart and see what else I can find!

sounds like a dodgy plug they are pretty cheap i think you can get them from flow tech i think if you google hirschman plug you should get them from somewhere

 

 

I shall try that!! If not I'll get it into the dealers! As I'm at my wits end with it lol
