I had a pair , they were fairly good but not as hard wearing as Sip's , for the cost you would be better buying pfanner , I'm on my second pair of arborist and love them .

Thanks for all that. I've found the Stihls for £147 - a good bet at that or are SIP Progress the better choice do you think?

I got Husqvarna technical type A £140 from buxtons, just go in to your local store and get the best Internet price up and ask them to match

The SIP progress represent the best value for money imo. Very durable.
